Metoclopramide Tablets (Rx)

Safety Information
- Use only under the direction of a veterinarian.
- Monitor pets with existing conditions such as:
- Seizure disorders (e.g., epilepsy)
- Kidney or liver disease
- Gastrointestinal obstructions
- Inform your vet about any other medications your pet is taking—especially:
- Antidepressants
- Pain relievers
- Sedatives
- Watch for signs of sensitivity, including:
- Restlessness
- Hyperactivity
- Disorientation
- Discontinue and contact your vet immediately if signs of an allergic reaction occur (e.g., swelling, trouble breathing, intense itching).
Warnings
- Do not give to pets with seizures, GI blockages, or internal bleeding in a digestive tract.
- Use caution in pets with high blood pressure or renal diseases.
- This may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or other central nervous system drugs.
- Not recommended for pregnant or nursing animals unless prescribed by a vet.
Human Warnings
- Not for human use.
- Avoid handling if allergic to metoclopramide or similar medications.
- Wash hands after administering the tablet.
- If accidental ingestion occurs, contact a poison control center or seek medical attention right away.
- Keep out of reach of children.
