Dr. Petroff went to the University of Florida for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. She graduated from veterinary school in 2015. She worked as a primary care veterinarian after graduating from veterinary school. She worked as a relief veterinarian in 2017. She is well known in this area for practicing high quality medicine with a Fear Free approach. 

Professionally, she is a 
board member of the Young Professionals of Martin County. She recently won the AAFP young veterinarian scholar award in 2019.
