Amoxi-Drop is a semisynthetic penicillin-type antibiotic for cats and dogs that's effective against a range of bacterial infections, including ear, skin, urinary tract, respiratory, and bladder infections. Amoxicillin inhibits the growth of bacteria by preventing the cell wall formation of the bacterial cells. Amoxi-Drop has a pleasant taste that's easy to give to fussy cats and dogs.

  • Side effects may include digestive upset such as vomiting, diarrhea, or decreased appetite. These effects are typically mild and temporary.
  • If your pet shows signs of an allergic reaction—such as hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing—stop the medication and contact your vet immediately.
  • Not effective against viral infections or infections caused by amoxicillin-resistant bacteria.
  • Use cautiously in pets with known kidney disease or a history of antibiotic allergies.1
