What is Composure Pro?

VetriScience Composure Pro is a clinical strength formula that promotes calm behavior in cats and dogs in need of behavioral, cognitive, and brain function support. These tasty, chicken-liver flavored chews are clinically shown to work within 30 minutes and last up to 4 hours — without causing drowsiness or unwanted personality changes. Composure Pro features a combination of four effective ingredients: Colostrum Calming Complex®, L-theanine, thiamine (Vitamin B1), and L-tryptophan. These chews can be given daily or as needed, and you can double your pet’s dose during times of extra stress.

What does Composure Pro treat?

Common symptoms that Composure Pro treats include:

  • Constant need to be with their human
  • Peeing or defecating in inappropriate places
  • Destructive behavior
  • Panting
  • Whining
  • Pacing
  • Panic
  • Nervousness
  • Hiding

Conditions that Composure Pro treats include:

  • Anxiety
  • Separation anxiety or hyper-attachment
  • Stress caused by vet visits, fireworks, travel, etc.
  • Hyperactivity

How is Composure Pro given?

Composure Pro chews are give orally to pets. Dosage recommendations are as follows:
0-30 lbs: ½ chew daily
31-60 lbs: 1 chew daily
61+ lbs: 2 chews daily

Product can be given up to two times daily or on an as-needed basis. It’s safe to double in times of increased stress.

L-Tryptophan: 75 mg 
Colostrum Calming Complex® Biopeptide Blend: 25 mg 
L-Theanine (Suntheanine®): 25 mg

Inactive ingredients: arabic gum, barley flour, brewers yeast, calcium sulfate, canola oil, citric acid, citrus pectin, glycerin, hydrolyzed chicken liver flavor, maltodextrin, oat flour, propionic acid, rosemary extract, rye flour, silicon dioxide, sodium alginate, sorbic acid, soy lecithin, vegetable oil, water

What are the possible side effects of Composure Pro?

There are no known side effects of Composure Pro.

Safety Information

Keep out of the reach of animals. Do not use in immature, pregnant or lactating animals. If animal’s health worsens, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Not a source of antibodies. Some pets may consider this a treat. In case of accidental overdose, contact a veterinarian immediately.2

Warnings 

Keep out of reach of pets. If you notice signs that your pet’s health is getting worse, stop using and contact your vet immediately.2

Human Warnings
