EicosaDerm is an omega-3 supplement for dogs and cats that relieves dry, itchy skin and helps maintain a healthy coat. It also contains vitamin E, an antioxidant. Research shows omega-3 fatty acids also play an important role in mediating and regulating inflammatory, immune, and aggregatory responses within the body, so it may be helpful for a variety of health conditions.

The omega-3 fish oil in EicosaDerm comes from small, cold water ocean fish. The oil has been fully refined, deodorized, purified, and molecularly distilled. EicosaDerm is made in the USA and is tested and certified to be free from pesticides and below testing levels for heavy metals.

One pump (2 ML) contains: 

  • 600 mg total omega-3
  • 360 mg EPA 
  • 240 mg DHA
  • 10 IU vitamin E

What are the possible side effects of EicosaDerm?

Fish oils are generally considered very safe for cats and dogs when taken as directed. Side effects of fish oils (particularly at high doses) include vomiting, diarrhea, weight gain, oily coat, flaky skin, and slow wound healing.
