Levetiracetam ER (Extended Release) tablets are an anti-seizure medication used to treat animals suffering from refractory seizure disorders. Levetiracetam ER is often used with phenobarbital when phenobarbital alone does not provide adequate benefits.

Safety Information
Do not use Levetiracetam ER in dogs with a known hypersensitivity to the drug. Monitor for side effects and share any concerns with your veterinarian.2
Warnings
This medication should not be abruptly discontinued, as doing so may trigger seizures. Always follow your veterinarian’s guidance when tapering or adjusting dosage.1
