NexGard Chewables are vet-recommended and FDA-approved to kill adult fleas fast, before they have a chance to lay eggs. They’re also FDA-approved to help prevent Lyme infections by killing black-legged ticks. In addition, they kill American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and brown dog ticks. Each fast-acting chew provides safe and effective protection against fleas and ticks for a full month. And the chews are easy to give because dogs love the delicious beef flavor. Each box contains a 3-month supply.

The most frequently reported side effects of NexGard include vomiting, dry/flaky skin, diarrhea, lethargy, and lack of appetite.
Afoxolaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.

Safety Information
Afoxolaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. The safe use of NexGard in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs has not been evaluated.1
NexGard Chewables should only be given under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian to the prescribed pet.
Warnings
- Keep NexGard in a secure location out of reach of dogs, cats, and other animals to prevent accidental ingestion or overdose.1
Human Warnings
- Not for use in humans. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician immediately.1
