What is Simparica Trio?
Simparica Trio is a monthly medication that protects your dog against potentially deadly heartworm disease, five types of ticks (deer tick, American dog tick, lone star tick, brown dog tick, gulf coast tick), fleas, roundworms, and hookworms — all in one tasty, liver-flavored chewable tablet. It’s FDA-approved to block infections that may cause Lyme disease by killing deer ticks. And in a study, Simparica Trio was shown to kill fleas within 4 hours, and achieved 100% effectiveness in 8 hours.
