Safety Information
Monitor your dog for signs of side effects during treatment. This medication may not be suitable for dogs with liver disease or those who have shown sensitivity to sulfonamides. Your vet may recommend periodic blood work to monitor your dog’s response.
Warnings
Do not stop treatment suddenly unless advised by your vet, as symptoms could return. Sulfasalazine may interact with other drugs, so inform your vet of any other medications or supplements your pet is taking.
