Carprovet chewable tablets are a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat arthritis pain and inflammation in dogs, as well as pain following certain surgeries. 

This is a generic form of Rimadyl, Novox, Carpaquin, Vetprofen, and Quellin.

Common symptoms that Carprovet chewable tablets treat include:

• Joint swelling
• Lethargy
• Hesitancy to walk or play
• Stiffness or difficulty getting up
• Irritability or changes in behavior
• Difficulty urinating or defecating
• Loss of muscle mass on spine and limbs
• Weight loss or gain
• Slow gait
• Licking of joints
• Pain, especially when the affected area is touched

Conditions that Carprovet chewable tablets treat include:

• Osteoarthritis
• Post-surgical pain
• Inflammation

Carprovet for dogs is considered relatively safe when used as directed. Common side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, decreased appetite, and tiredness.

Talk to a veterinarian immediately if your dog has any of the following side effects: stops eating; drinking more water or urinating more; yellow skin or eyes; severe vomiting, diarrhea, black or bloody stools, or bloody vomit; seizures; lack of coordination or balance; loss of primary motor function; or other concerning symptoms.
