Metacam (meloxicam/meloxidyl) Oral Suspension (Rx)
Metacam® Oral Suspension is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) oral medication used to treat pain and inflammation in dogs. Meloxicam has been used in cats for osteoarthritis, pain and inflammatory conditions.
Safety Information
Safety in dogs under 6 months of age or dogs who are pregnant or lactating has not been evaluated. Do not administer to dogs with bleeding disorders.1
Warnings
If your dog experiences side effects from Metacam, talk to your vet immediately.1
Human Warnings
Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children.1
