Safety Information

  • Generally well-tolerated by most animals. Pets with existing constipation should not receive this medication. Animals allergic to sucralfate should avoid it. Regular monitoring isn't typically needed, though veterinarians may recommend check-ups based on the underlying condition being treated.3

Warnings 

  • Watch for blood in vomit or stool, which could indicate worsening ulcers requiring immediate veterinary attention. Overdoses are rarely serious but should still prompt veterinary consultation.3
