Surolan Otic Suspension for Dogs is an ear medication that combines an antibiotic, antifungal, and a steroid to treat ear infections and inflammation of the skin (dermatitis). It soothes itching while it treats infections caused by yeast, fungi, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Common symptoms that Surolan Otic Suspension treats include:

• Foul-smelling ears
• Ear scratching and/or head shaking
• Discharge from the ear
• Crusted or scabby skin under the ear flap
• Swelling or redness around the ear
• Reluctance to have head touched

Conditions that Surolan Otic Suspension treats include:

• Ear infections (otitis externa)
• Dermatitis (skin inflammation)
• Infections caused by yeast, fungi, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria

Shake well before use. The external ear should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before the initiation of treatment. Verify that the eardrum is intact. Instill 5 drops of Surolan in the ear canal twice daily and massage the ear. Therapy should continue for 7 consecutive days. Do not give orally.
