Safety Information
Discuss your pet’s other medications with your vet before administering lactulose. Do not give to pets who are allergic to it. Use with caution in pets who have diabetes, fluid or electrolyte abnormalities, or are prone to dehydration.3
Warnings
Overdose of lactulose can lead to dehydration. If you suspect an overdose, contact your vet or an animal poison control center.3
